Nedostato\u010dn\u00e1 h\u013abka puzdra znamen\u00e1, \u017ee tvrd\u00e1 vrstva je pr\u00edli\u0161 tenk\u00e1 na to, aby uniesla kontaktn\u00e9 za\u0165a\u017eenie; podpovrchov\u00e9 nap\u00e4\u0165ov\u00e9 pole sa rozprestiera pod puzdrom do m\u00e4k\u0161ieho jadra, \u010do sp\u00f4sobuje podpovrchov\u00e9 \u00fanavov\u00e9 praskanie, ktor\u00e9 sa prejavuje ako jamkov\u00e1 tvorba na povrchu zubov. Nitridovan\u00e9 ozuben\u00e9 koleso si zachov\u00e1va svoje rozmery z predbe\u017enej \u00fapravy tak presne, \u017ee jemn\u00e9 br\u00fasenie po \u00faprave je \u010dasto zbyto\u010dn\u00e9, \u010do \u0161etr\u00ed v\u00fdrobn\u00fd \u010das aj n\u00e1klady.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 16px;\">Nitridovan\u00e1 povrchov\u00e1 vrstva dosahuje tvrdos\u0165 65 \u2013 72 HRC \u2013 \u010do je tvrd\u0161ie ako pri cementovan\u00fdch pl\u00e1\u0161\u0165och \u2013 v\u010faka tvorbe nitridov\u00fdch zl\u00fa\u010den\u00edn \u017eeleza a zliatin. H\u013abka pl\u00e1\u0161\u0165a je v\u0161ak typicky iba 0,2 a\u017e 0,5 mm, \u010do je podstatne menej ako pri cement\u00e1cii. T\u00e1to tenk\u00e1 tvrd\u00e1 vrstva poskytuje vynikaj\u00facu odolnos\u0165 proti opotrebovaniu a oderu, ale pon\u00faka obmedzen\u00fa podporu pre vysok\u00e9 Hertzovo kontaktn\u00e9 za\u0165a\u017eenie.
